Between November and January, the crew from LMS events have been out and about lending a hand at various venues and events. These include; Kraft foods’ conference and the UK wedding show at Ricoh Arena, and Forever Living Products at Telford International Centre, to name but a few.

Thin Lizzy at De Montfort Hall

Thin Lizzy have begun their 2012 tour which shows them visiting venues all across Europe. One of which being De Montfort hall in Leicester on the 25^th January. LMS events provided 26metres of pit barrier for this particular event and will be revisiting the venue for other exciting gigs in the coming months.

London Boat Show 2012

In December 2012, LMS events provided a platform for ‘Yamaha’ and a platform for the wakeboarding pool. The ‘Yamaha’ platform was made from litedeck staging built at 2 foot high. The staging was then covered with grey carpet. LMS have been providing exhibition stands for the boat show for eight consecutive years. The boat show ran from the 6^th-15^th January. The event was a great success.

Deep Purple at the LG Arena

Deep purple began selling albums in 1996. This year they carried out a tour which sold out at many venues. One of which was the LG arena. LMS events installed a stage extension for this event. The extension was 85foot x 12foot and fitted against the existing stage. The event was held on Sunday 27^th November 2011 and was a huge success.

Bosch Home Appliances

‘Bosch’ home appliances based in Worcester, wanted a tiered platform for a company photo. We installed a 40ft x 16ft tiered platform made from litedeck with handrails on the 1^st December 2011. The platform started at 1ft high then each tier increased in 1 foot increments.

Cheltenham Christmas light switch-on

The Brewery shopping centre in Cheltenham was filled with an audience of excited families on 19^th November for the annual Christmas lights switch-on. A parade full of local talent flowed through the town centre before reaching the Brewery for a performance from the Chip Shop Boys, Blues Brothers Reloaded and the band of the Gloucestershire constabulary. LMS events supplied;

Cheltenham Literature Festival

The literature festival is one of the four successful festivals held throughout the year in Cheltenham, along with the jazz, science and music festivals. These festivals are a chance for the town to showcase its local talent as well as giving well-known artists the opportunity to take centre stage in a more intimate space. LMS have been supplying event staging solutions to these festivals for many years. At the 2011 Literature festival we installed;

Temporary Event Access ramp platforms for the Mobenn marquees
A 32ft x 12ft event stage in ‘The Forum’ (seats 1500) with guests including Joanna Lumley, Stars from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as well as the author, screenwriter and actors from ‘Downton Abbey’
24ft x 12ft event staging in the ‘Qwerty’ marquee which seats 700 people with Dave Gorman as one of the comedians taking centre stage
20ft x 10ft stage in ‘The Salon’ marquee which seats 350 people
8ft x 6ft platform in the ‘Literary Lounge’ marquee which seats 50

The marquees were placed in both Cheltenham’s Imperial gardens and the Montpellier gardens.

The Freeze Festival at Battersea Power Station

The Freeze Festival is the UK’s only snow, ski and music festival and is held annually at Battersea power station. LMS events provided 6 crew to help with the stage build for a 60ft x 40ft stage.

Will Young in concert at Venue Cymru

On the 15^th November at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, we supplied pit barrier at one of Will Young’s many tour dates. 30metres of pit and police barrier were put into position in front of the stage and around the Front of House position. Other concerts which we have supplied equipment for at Venue Cymru include Status Quo and Westlife.

Bromsgrove and Redditch Firework Events

On the 3^rd November Arrow Valley park was host to the annual Redditch Firework Event. LMS events supplied;

LMS events also supplied event barriers for the Bromgrove annual firework event held at Sanders park on the 5^th November. We supplied:
